Midsommar – Dinner und Führung - SPECIAL (DE) | 28. Juni 2020

DE / EN Midsommar ist eine skandinavische Tradition, die wir auch auf dem Vitra Campus aufgreifen – die längsten Tage des Jahres müssen gefeiert werden! Der Abend beginnt mit einer Führung im Vitra Schaudepot mit Fokus auf skandinavischen Designern, danach folgt ein Abendessen mit Spezialitäten der nordischen Küche, das bei gutem Wetter an einer Tafel unter freiem Himmel stattfindet. Um den Abend abzurunden, sind Sie dazu eingeladen, typisch skandinavische Himmeli aus Stroh zu gestalten. Midsommar is a Scandinavian tradition we are happy to bring to the Vitra Campus – the longest days of the year are a reason to celebrate! The evening begins with a guided tour in the Vitra Schaudepot focusing on works by Scandinavian designers, followed by a midsummer feast featuring culinary specialities of Nordic cuisine. Weather permitting, this will be served on a long shared table under the open sky. The evening will be rounded off by a »Himmeli« workshop for guests to create the small straw hanging sculptures so popular in Scandinavia. The tour will be held in German.
