The other Beethoven(s) - Covered Culture

Covered Culture Audiovisuelle Installation im Rahmen von „The other Beethoven(s)” „There’s no separation in a world of imagined connections”: Im Rahmen des vom Goethe-Instituts entwickelten Programms „The other Beethoven(s)“ präsentieren die Komponistin Brigitta Muntendorf und der Dramaturg Moritz Lobeck mit „Covered Culture“ im radialsystem eine audiovisuelle Rauminstallation, die nach den Prinzipien des „Social Compo-sing“ entstand: Ausgehend von Fragmenten vokaler Musik Beethovens und seinem politischen Blick auf das Kollektiv bringt die Installation Stimmen und Abbilder von Sänger*innen des Beijing Queer Chorus, des Opernchores des Nationaltheaters Weimar und eines virtuellen Chors aus Sänger*innen und Performer*innen aus China, Korea und Japan in einer Mehrkanalkomposition zusammen. To create the 3D effect: keep your head upright, and look at your nose tip. You need to catch the degree of the eyes crossing where the little white angels at the top coincide and the combined image takes on depth and sharpness - and maintain it.
