August in der Kulturbrauerei Berlin statt! In über 120 Programmpunkten öffnet das Festival den Blick auf den Facettenreichtum des Pop und bietet Raum für gemeinsamen und künstlerischen Austausch. Pop-Kultur 2021 – DONNERSTAG 26. August Am zweiten Festivaltag bringen u.a. Ava Vegas, LAYLA, Preach, DENA, Masha Qrella oder School of Zuversicht eine geballte Ladung Popkultur auf die Bühnen von Pop-Kultur 2021! Exklusive Arbeiten, welche während des Festivaltags ihre Premiere feiern, stammen von Discovery Zone, Mandhla., ILYICH oder der in Israel lebenden iranischen Musikerin Liraz. Die Commissioned Works von All diese Gewalt sowie Alexander Scheer werden an diesem Tag ein zweites Mal aufgeführt. Neben weiteren Live-Acts gibt es am zweiten Festivaltag Talks zu »Hybriden Arbeitsverhältnissen in der Kulturindustrie«, Petra Nachtmanova ist im Gespräch mit der »Stimme der Gastarbeiter«, Ata Canani, und Stefanie Sargnagel liest aus ihrem Roman »Dicht. Aufzeichnungen einer Tagediebin«. Exclusive works that will be premiered on this day come from Discovery Zone, Mandhla., ILYICH and the Israeli-Iranian musician Liraz. Commissioned works by All diese Gewalt and Alexander Scheer will be performed for a second time on this day. In addition to further live acts, there will be talks on the second day on topics such as »hybrid employment,« Petra Nachtmanova will be in conversation with the »Voice of the Guest Workers«, Ata Canani, and Stefanie Sargnagel will read from her novel »Dicht.
